SBI Clerk Exam Centre List 2026, Check State-wise List

SBI Clerk Exam Centre List 2026 has been provided by the State Bank of India in the official Junior Associate notification. The tentative list includes examination cities across States and Union Territories for the SBI Clerk Preliminary and Main examinations. Candidates should note that this list shows the notified exam cities; the exact allotted examination venue, reporting time and other centre-specific instructions are mentioned on the candidate’s call letter.

SBI has released the 2026 Junior Associate recruitment under Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2026-27/17. The official notification states that SBI can cancel or add examination centres depending on response and administrative feasibility and may also allot a candidate a centre other than the one originally opted for.

SBI Clerk Exam Centre List 2026: Overview

SBI Clerk Exam Centre List 2026 State Wise

The official SBI Clerk Exam Centre List contains notified examination cities across India. Candidates can check their State or Union Territory in the table below. The list is tentative, which means SBI retains the right to modify examination centres when required.

Important: The above is the tentative examination-centre list from the official SBI Junior Associate notification. It should not be interpreted as confirmation that every candidate will receive the city originally selected during the application process.

SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Centre 2026

The SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Centre allotted to an individual candidate is mentioned on the Preliminary Examination call letter. The notification provides the tentative city list, while the call letter is the document candidates should follow for their actual examination venue.

Do not confuse the name of an exam city with the complete venue address. For example, if a candidate’s notified city is Lucknow, the actual test venue may be a specific computer-based examination facility within or around the allotted area. Candidates should check the full address printed on their call letter before travelling.

SBI Clerk Mains Exam Centre 2026

The official notification’s Annexure-I is titled “Tentative List of Centres for Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.” Candidates shortlisted for the Main Examination should therefore check their Main call letter for the final allotted venue rather than assuming that their Prelims venue will automatically remain the same.

The Main Examination is tentatively scheduled for November 2026 according to the recruitment notification. Candidates qualifying Prelims should monitor SBI Careers for the Main Examination call letter and subsequent instructions.

Can SBI Clerk Exam Centre Be Changed?

No request for a change of examination centre, date or session will be entertained by SBI. Candidates should therefore follow the centre allotted on their call letter.

SBI also reserves the right to cancel an examination centre or add another centre depending on factors such as candidate response and administrative feasibility. The Bank can allot a candidate a centre other than the one originally opted for.

Exam City vs Exact SBI Clerk Exam Venue

This distinction is especially important for large cities such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai/MMR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Lucknow, where multiple computer-based testing venues may operate.

How to Check Your SBI Clerk Exam Centre

1. Open the official SBI Careers portal.
2. Go to the Current Openings section.
3. Find “Recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales)”.
4. Open the Preliminary or Main Examination call-letter link, as applicable.
5. Enter the required login credentials.
6. Download your call letter.
7. Check the examination date, reporting time and complete venue address carefully.

ExamTune Tip: Search the exact venue address on a map before exam day and estimate travel time with a reasonable buffer. Do not rely only on the city name because the venue may be far from your usual railway station, bus stand or residential area.

Important SBI Clerk Exam Centre Rules

• The examination is conducted online at allotted venues.
• The notified centre list is tentative.
• SBI may cancel or add centres when required.
• SBI may allot a centre other than the candidate’s preferred centre.
• Requests to change the examination centre, date or session are not entertained.
• Candidates bear their own travel and other expenses for reaching the allotted centre.
• The final venue details should be checked on the call letter.
• Candidates must follow all instructions given in the call letter and official examination booklet.

SBI Clerk Exam Centre: Exam-Day Checklist

Before leaving for the SBI Clerk examination centre, candidates should recheck the instructions printed on their call letter. SBI’s notification specifically requires candidates to preserve the authenticated Preliminary Examination call letter for candidates who later appear in the Main Examination.

• Printed examination call letter
• Required valid photo identity proof and copy, as instructed
• Photographs required under the call-letter instructions
• Correct exam venue address
• Reporting time and examination date
• Any additional document specifically required in the call letter

Common Student Mistake: Do not navigate only by searching the exam centre’s shortened name online. Match the complete address on the call letter before starting your journey, especially when several institutions or test centres have similar names.

What If SBI Changes an Exam Centre?

SBI reserves the right to modify the tentative examination-centre arrangement depending on administrative requirements. Candidates should therefore monitor the official SBI Careers portal and their registered communication channels for recruitment-related updates.

If there is any difference between a coaching website, an old centre list and the latest official SBI communication, candidates should follow the latest instructions issued by SBI.
