IOB LBO Exam Pattern

The online examination for the Local Bank Officer recruitment consists of 140 objective questions carrying 200 marks. Candidates will get a total of 3 hours, with separate timings for individual sections.

For every wrong answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. There is no penalty for an unanswered question.

IOB LBO Selection Process

The IOB Local Bank Officer selection process includes an Online Examination, followed by a Language Proficiency Test (where applicable) and a Personal Interview. Candidates who studied the specified local language of their applied state as a subject in Class 10 or Class 12 are not required to undergo the Language Proficiency Test, subject to production of the required certificate or marksheet.

For final selection, the official notification gives the Online Examination and Personal Interview a weightage of 80:20.
