What Does SBI Clerk Backlog Vacancy Mean?

A backlog vacancy is not related to a candidate having a failed subject,
semester backlog or pending examination in college.

In government recruitment terminology, a backlog reserved vacancy is generally
a reserved vacancy that was earmarked for a particular category in an earlier
recruitment year but remained unfilled. Such pending reserved vacancies may be
filled through a later recruitment exercise or special recruitment drive.

Therefore, the term SBI Clerk Backlog Vacancy 2026 refers to
pending reserved Junior Associate vacancies being filled through this special
drive.
